Welcome to skating! Get ready to learn the FUNdamental skills you need to start your on-ice journey. All ages welcome. Please note a CSA helmet is MANDATORY for every skater.
Hone the basic skills that will prepare you for the next level of skating, gaining precision and control of your body and blades.
Spinning and jumping are among the many new elements you'll be working on as you prepare to take on your first routine to music.
Skills, Tests, Achievement, Recognition – this is STARSkate! Skaters of all ages develop fundamental skating techniques in ice dance, figure elements, free skate, and interpretive skating.

Things to Note Before Registering
The Kitsilano Figure Skating Club (Kits FSC), its board members, volunteers, and coaches are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings either on or off the ice while attending our programs.
Kits FSC is not responsible for cancellation of classes due to unavailable ice, but will make every effort to reschedule, if at all possible.
ICE TIME IS NON TRANSFERABLE. MAKE UP CLASSES ARE NOT AVAILABLE. KITS FSC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR REPLACING SESSION TIMES MISSED BY THE SKATER.
Every attempt will be made to make up ice time that has been cancelled by the Club.
A fee of $25.00 will be charged for any NSF cheques.
Refunds will only be issued for medical reasons when accompanied with a medical note. All refunds will be pro-rated, in the form of a credit note, and subject to an administration fee of $10.00.
The Skate Canada and Kits Admin Fees are non-refundable.
